Considering A Visit?
We are glad you are considering a visit. Our ministry is designed to partner with parents to help kids discover, embrace, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. We recognize the challenge of raising children to know Christ in today’s culture. We want to assist and encourage you in building a strong spiritual foundation for your children; working together to help children form a worldview that is distinctly God-honoring.

We value the instruction of the Bible, the practice of worshipful lives, the development of Christian community, and acts of service. A variety of age-appropriate ministry opportunities are available to help your child to develop as a fully-devoted disciple of Christ.
Our staff is always available to you for prayer and encouragement, as well as to answer any questions or concerns.

What Do I Need To Know?

Each Sunday, Staff and volunteers work hard to create a safe and meaningful class experience for your children. Here are a few things you need to know to help us make the morning great.

If you are a guest please visit the Information/Check-in desk located at the main entrance of the children’s building. This is where your children will be assigned to their classrooms. Team members will then escort your children to their rooms. Please complete the Sign-in Form if you have not done so already. It’s important to inform us of any allergies or health concerns. Please pick up your child on time. To early can disrupt the other children during their lesson.

Where Do I Check-In?

In order to provide the safest environment for your children while in our care, we follow a strict check-in process.

When you bring your children to church they will be checked in at the front check-in desk and given a numbered security tag, which is placed on their shirts and diaper bags. You will recieve tag(s) with matching numbers. You must have these security tags in order to pick up.

For safety and stability reasons, we ask the parents check their children in at the check-in desk instead of going to the classroom.

Staff and host members monitor the entrance of Treasure Cove and Truth Quest before and after each service.

All volunteers go through a detailed screening process and a criminal background check.

We have security cameras in each classroom and hallways to ensure a safe and fun environment.

How Do I Enroll My Child?

All first time guest are asked to fill out a Guest Registration Form located at the front desk of the children’s building. Based on the ages, and developmental stages, your child will be assigned to a class and  then escorted to the classrooms.

When you visit again they can be checked right into the same classroom they attended before.

We hope you decide to make Lyons First Baptist Church your home. At that point your children will be added to our Sunday School roster.

We would love to talk to you about joining our team. If you are interested and would like more infromation please contact Mitch or Kellie Bellflower or front office.
